California Proposition 65 Warning
What is Proposition 65?
In 1986, the voters of California passed Proposition 65 also known as the Safe Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, which applies not only to water, but also to consumer goods sold in California. Proposition 65 requires the state of California to publish and maintain a list of chemicals knows to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. The list is updated periodically and currently contains over 800 substances. The most recent list and other Prop 65 information are available on OEHHA’s website: https://www.p65warnings.ca.gov/
WARNING: Products with links to this page contain a chemical "Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP)” known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. This chemical is in our product bags, not the product itself. We are currently working to create new shipping bags without this chemical.
California law requires this warning to be given to customers in the State of California.
Products on our website that contain these chemicals are clearly labeled on their product detail pages with a link to this page. For further information about Proposition 65 contact your California state government.
